Cancellation Terms

General conditions of payment, confirmation, change and cancellation of reservation

Payment terms:

An advance payment of at least 30% of the advance (30% of the total amount for early booking, equivalent to the Convertible Mark at the middle exchange rate of the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina, effective on the day of payment) is implied within five days after the invoice is issued. In case of non-compliance with the deadline, Hotel Sunce reserves the right to cancel the reservation.

Payment method in the country:

  • Payment is made in exchange for Convertible Marks at the middle exchange rate of the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina, effective on the day of payment.
  • Pay to the bank account of Hotel Sunce.
  • Payment is by card at the hotel reception (Master, Maestro, Visa, Visa Electron, Dina Card, American Express).

Method of payment from abroad:

  • Payment to Hotel Sunce’s foreign currency account from abroad; the payer bears bank charges. Otherwise, the charges will be charged at the hotel reception in exchange for Convertible Marks at the middle exchange rate of the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina for the effective date on the day of payment.
  • By payment card (Master, Maestro, Visa, Visa Electron, Dina Card, American Express)
  • In case of changes in the monetary market, Hotel Sunce reserves the right to correct prices.
  • The price is guaranteed only for the entire payment. Otherwise, only the advance payment amount is guaranteed; the rest is subject to change.

 

Terms of cancellation and change of reservation dates:

An accommodation reservation that has been paid in full is a commitment we take seriously. It remains valid until 11:59 p.m. on the day of arrival. Any changes or cancellations must be submitted in writing to the email info@hotel-sunce.ba. The date of written cancellation is the basis for calculating the fee, expressed as a percentage of the total price of the accommodation or package, namely:

  • We understand that plans can change. That’s why if the reservation is cancelled or rescheduled up to 21 days before the start of the service, only 30% of the total value of the reservation will be charged.
  • If the reservation is cancelled or rescheduled 20 to 8 days before the start of the service, 50% of the total value will be charged.
  • 100% of the total value of the reservation will be charged if the reservation is canceled or rescheduled 7 to 0 days before the start of the service, during the service, or in case of a guest’s no-show at the hotel.
  • If the guest leaves the hotel before the reserved departure date, Hotel Sunce retains funds for the unused part of the stay.

Special conditions for confirming, changing and cancelling a reservation

Hotel Sunce guarantees a refund of the amount paid for hotel services in full in the following cases:

  • Justified and documented illnesses in one or more persons to whom the reservation applies.
  • Death of a guest who booked our hotel, along with a document confirming that claim.
  • Border closures for foreign guests.
  • Proclamations of a state of emergency and movement bans due to the pandemic on the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
